PERSONAL TRAINING PACKAGE INCLUSIONS

PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS

Be personally trained by Dave Alley or a Mindset Health & Fitness training specialist, at your home, your favourite park or beach.  Dave tailors each PT session to suit and will come to you.  Choose your level of intensity – two, three, four or more sessions per week.  Each PT session runs for 40 minutes and Dave provides all equipment.  Just come with a can do attitude.

PRE-SCREENING 

To get an accurate assessment of your health and fitness condition, Dave will complete a thorough pre-screening session.  He’ll ask questions about any injuries, health concerns, medication and undertake testing to tailor your Personal Training package for optimum results.

NUTRITION STRATEGY

An integral part of any overall mindset, health & fitness strategy is nutrition. With an Advanced Certificate in Nutrition, Dave will provide you with nutrition advice, guidelines, healthy eating options and substitutes, meal timing and  preparation. Dave can also assess your current eating plan/habits and offer you solutions to optimise your nutrition and bring you closer to reaching your goals. The three pillars of mindset, health and fitness are all vital components to your success.

GOAL SETTING

All of our PT Packages include a goal setting session with Dave every 6 weeks.  This 45 minute session which is tied in with our time management component will cover: What is your goal? Honing in on your why? Intrinsic & extrinsic motivation, breaking down the overall mission to bite size, manageable actions. Discussing and unpacking any barriers to your success. We cover it all & leave you going away with an actionable, achievable plan. Meeting to discuss and share your goals statistically shows the chances of success increase a staggering 95%! Books, podcasts & seminars are all great & give us an education in to what is required, however, at some point we have to take ACTION! Tap into the mindset of the man who both cycled and ran around in Australia in record breaking time without a background in either sport! If people aren’t doubting you, laughing at or knocking you for your goals they aren’y big enough!

TIME MANAGEMENT

The most common barrier Dave hears to the achievement of success is ‘I don’t have the time.’ The question is – can I afford not to be at my very best? If our mindset, health & fitness are at its peak, all else will follow. All ‘PT package’ clients receive this 45 minute session every 6 weeks in conjunction with our goal setting session. We discuss how we can better manage the 168 hours per week we all have available to us. ‘When you are young you sacrifice your health for your wealth and when you are old you sacrifice your wealth for your health.’ A full time shift worker, husband, father to five children, a growing business – Dave understands and offers solutions that work.

RECOVERY SESSIONS

An integral component of any well considered training program is recovery. Dave will tailor your personal training sessions to your level including assessing your progress and programming appropriate rest and recovery sessions into your schedule. Recovery based sessions include such things as: foam rolling, stretching, yoga, contrast showers, cold water immersion, walking, mindfulness and meditation. Dave will also consider and assess your sleep. A HUGE factor in your overall wellness.

POSTURAL APPRAISAL

Our posture and positioning plays a crucial role in our overall health. Posture is the position in which someone holds their body when standing, sitting or lying down. During your training sessions we will continually assess your posture looking at your static posture and identify any imbalances that may cause or are causing pain and discomfort. Correct posture will allow you to operate more efficiently, with less fatigue and strain on your body’s ligaments and muscles. Being aware of good posture is the first step to breaking poor postural habits developed over time and reducing stress and strain on your spine.

EXERCISE TECHNIQUE

Technique is the way you perform an exercise in order to target specific muscle groups. Correct form using co-ordinated muscle actions is the key to injury prevention. If new to training, we will instruct you in the correct technique to perform the particular exercise in question focusing on the major muscle groups utilising compound exercises and movements. If an experienced trainer we will also continually assess your exercise technique and offer any corrections as required. Injury prevention and technique are the building blocks for successful, injury free training.

REFERRALS

Dave has a network of leading medical professionals he has worked with over many years he can refer you to if more specialised diagnosis/treatment is required or requested.

BLOOD TEST ANALYSIS

We recommend a blood test be conducted at least every 6 months to determine your overall health (unless your treating Doctor recommends otherwise). These are able to be arranged through your local GP and are often bulk billed through Medicare. On obtaining your results, Dave will review these with you & discuss any issues or areas of concern or improvement & how we can go about obtaining ideal results. This of course does not replace diagnosis, treatment and advice from your Doctor which should always be your first port of call. Blood test analysis is another cost effective, extensive checking mechanism we have at our disposal to ensure our overall optimum health & wellness which is a cornerstone of ‘Mindset Health & Fitness by Dave Alley’.

FITNESS TESTING

As a part of your package inclusions every six weeks we will conduct fitness testing covering a broad range of areas to gain an overall gauge of your health & fitness. Dave will discuss your results and set you targets for your next round of fitness testing. These test results are then sent to you in a spreadsheet so you are able to see your progress as we move forward. This gives us a six-week window for improvement &/or maintenance. This not only keeps our clients accountable but us as well as we strive to optimise the best results possible for you.

DIRECT CONTACT WITH DAVE

Once you become a client of Mindset, Health & Fitness by Dave Alley you have unlimited contact with Dave by your preferred method whether this be phone, Face Time, text, email, Messenger or face to face. Dave is here to answer any of your questions, guide, mentor, educate and motivate you towards your goals. Don’t leave your session and be forgotten about! Dave is here to support and guide you.

FRIDGE & PANTRY REVIEW

As an additional service to our valued clients, Dave is offering to come to your home and conduct a fridge and pantry review. Dave will provide feedback & offer alternatives and suggestions on food choices & grocery items to optimise your nutrition. Take away the temptation by NOT having the ‘naughty’ stuff available!

GROCERY SHOPPING HELP

We like to go above and beyond for our tribe. Not sure on the best food & hydration products to complement the hard work you are doing with your physical training? Dave will tag along on one of your grocery shops and provide assistance and advice. Take away the hassle and stress and be educated in product selection. A great additional service provided to our clients included in your package price.

‘IN BODY’ SCAN

With an ‘InBody’ scan you can find out over 40 body composition parameters, including muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat and bone mineral content.
